The Salhad Welfare Medical Center aims to start a sewing class at GOVT. GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL SALHAD ABBOTTABAD with the main objective to provide skill based learning to the students and Empowering the girls with self-worth, literacy, & the financial freedom that comes from mastering the valuable trade of sewing.
“Illiterate women in Pakistan have limited options to sustain themselves and care for their children. Instead of a life of servitude, we would like to equip them with training, a support network and the materials needed to take control of their own lives”
This Project will help the girls to support there families financially after mastering the skill of sewing through the following curriculum:
We would like to proudly announce a joint venture between Salhad Welfare Medical Centre and Government Girls High School Salhad. This project aims to teach girl students between Grade 6 till Grade 10 sewing classes. Salhad Welfare Medical Centre has provided the required equipment and hired a teacher who has been provided with the coursework. This project will provide the girls the opportunity to learn a new skill set within a year thus enabling them to utilise their new skill when needed.
This project is one more step forward towards our commitment to serve the community.

Unfortunately, Pakistan stands high in the list of top countries with extreme infant mortality.
Being conscious of the situation, Salhad Welfare Medical Center has established a Non-Profit Medical Center to provide best healthcare facilities to the public, irrespective of their socio-economic status.
